The villa, located within the historic Ter Waere Estate, offers an exceptional environment where nature, heritage and tranquillity come together. The fully enclosed and private estate extends over 15 hectares of parkland, gardens, vegetable garden, orchard and tree-lined lanes — an ideal place to unwind and reconnect.
The park is distinguished by its centuries-old trees, beautifully maintained lawns, wooded areas and its broad landscape perspectives typical of historic Flemish estates.
Just a few steps from the villa stands the Louis XV–style castle, the architectural jewel of the estate, along with several restored historic outbuildings. Together, they form a harmonious and authentic ensemble, rich in history: formerly owned by the Canons of Bruges in the 18th century, and later by the Ronse family from the 19th century onwards, the estate has evolved over the centuries while preserving its heritage. Today, Ter Waere is a private estate fully renovated by the family’s descendants, where modernity and heritage coexist perfectly.
